Selm is located northeast of the Ruhr District between Dortmund and Münster and can be reached via Autobahn A1, A2 and A45. The industrial area Bork is located between Selm and Bork, in immediate proximity to the B236.

A1 coming from north/south: “Hamm-Bockum/Werne” exit, No. 80, take the L518 in the direction towards Werne. At the 5^th roundabout take the first exit in the direction of Selm; from Selm in the direction towards Bork.

A45 coming from south: Within the Autobahn interchange Dortmund Northwest to the A2 in the direction of Hannover; “Dortmund-Mengede/Waltrop” exit, No.12, take the L609 in the direction towards Selm; in Waltrop take the L809 in the direction towards Selm; in Bork take the B236 in the direction towards Selm.

A2 coming from west: Within the Autobahn interchange Dortmund Northwest; “Dortmund-Mengede/Waltrop” exit, No.12, take the L609 in the direction towards Selm; in Waltrop take the L809 in the direction towards Selm; in Bork take the B236 in the direction towards Selm.

A2 coming from east: “Kamen/Bergkamen” exit, No. 15, take the B61 in the direction towards Lünen; in Lünen take the B236 in the direction towards Selm-Bork.
