In the course of the implementation of the International Standard ISO 16890, Kalthoff has set itself the task of developing air filters classified according to the filter group ISO ePM1.
The threat of the virus (SARS-CoV-2) to the human health
is currently a hot debated topic.
As of 1 July 2018, an ISO 16890 labelling is mandatory for all filter manufacturers. They have to test and also evaluate their air filters according to the Standard.
With our panel filter series GRISU WU and WU/5510 Kalthoff has developed reliable filter types that can withstand the difficult conditions in mobile systems.
Kalthoff defines uniform standards for future new articles. Standard dimensions will be distinguished from extended standard dimensions as well as from special dimensions thereby.
On 23rd September 2017 the focus was on the company’s own employees. This year’s staff outing led through the largest workplace exhibition in Germany, the DASA in Dortmund.

At the end of the year 2016, the filter standard ISO 16890 came into force for the test and evaluation of air filters for ventilation and air conditioning technology. At this point, the general meaning of this standard should be made clear by means of questions and answers.
