Mayor on a visit

The mayor of Selm, Mario Loehr, has already been in office since 2009 and is always interested in the well-being of his city. In this case, a good economic structure in Selm (among other things) is important to him. Correspondingly, on 21st March 2017 he paid our company a visit, in order to become informed about the current status of the company Kalthoff Luftfilter und Filtermedien GmbH.

Kalthoff headquarters has been located in the industrial area of Bork since 1987. Since then, a generation change has occurred in the company management and the company has been further expanded step by step. Today the company has more than 200 employees.

During his visit, Mario Loehr was informed about current developments, as well as the latest production technologies in the manufacture of air filters. With a product range of more than 30.000 articles, Kalthoff places particular emphasis on quality, responsibility and safety.

Kalthoff’s future orientation was likewise a topic of discussion. Currently, global deliveries of approx. 2.5 million filters every year are coordinated by our Logistics Centre.

This satisfactory company development allows Kalthoff to face the future with confidence. After the most recent capacity extensions which have been realised, additional factory expansions are planned by 2019.
